Christopher Reed, President

Christopher Reed is a producer, screenwriter, screenwriting consultant, theater producer and novelist. He has produced film, live theater, dance events, musical events, and more. He is currently producing the feature film Sharkpunching, which is scheduled to begin production in mid-2024. As a screenwriter, he has sold original scripts to, and developed screenplays for, Disney Animation, Turner Animation, Sony Studios, Jim Henson Productions, Nickelodeon and other studios. With his writing partner and wife, Cynthia Carle, he wrote the Touchstone feature film, The Sixth Man, as well as the Disney Channel original movie You Wish. He is a sought-after screenwriting consultant and for the last ten years has taught screenwriting for The Writing Pad, Inc., a premier West Coast writing school. Cynthia Carle is a screenwriter, songwriter, actor, and choreographer. She’s sung her own stuff from LA’s McCabe’s and San Francisco’s Lost Church to NY’s West Bank. Screenwriting credits include Touchstone’s The Sixth Man and Disney Channel’s You Wish, for which she and partner/husband Christopher Reed were Humanitas Award finalists. As an actor, she’s been on Broadway, Off-Broadway, at regional theaters including the Guthrie, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Trinity Square Rep, Mark Taper, in Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator the Musical, which she also choreographed and musical-directed, and in films including Louis Malle’s Alamo Bay. She’s co-star and co-creator, with music partner Mark Nutter, of two dark comic musical revues: Christmas Smackdown and Dr. Dung Beetle’s House of Dreams. [IMDB]
